Hello, I'm in NYC, I tried to update my driver license to Real ID. Wasn't approved based on my C10 WP, the lady said only DACA, TPS and Asylum C08 are eligible, thus I must wait for my GC to renew. It didn't make any sense to me. I read from previous comments that by presenting the I-797C, Notice Of Action / Receipt Notice and the C10 WP is enough to get the DL updated. The notice says "The above application has been received and accepted as an I-485 receipt". Rosend123 did you trie? any comment is welcome, thanks.

No i didn't try. Because I got my Gc about 1 month ago. I have my appointment for 04/25 but something doesn't make sense to me. Because they said that my Gc doesn't qualify for enhance drivers license. That's only for USA citizen. But if I have a Gc I can go out of the country and come back with my passport. But what we can do. I guess nothing but I will try to get a change i know lots of people that work in the government and they should change that.

My renewal was $820 including fee and mailing and yes it is in paper form.

Hi, the gc holders can have real id only. But that is enough!! Enhance is just for us citizen.

Yes Gc can only have real ID. But doesn't make any sense. Because the Enhanced driver's license is only good to travel to Canada or Mexico by land or boat. By air you have to have your passport. And with the green card we can go to Mexico and Canada and other countries. Obviously we have to have our passport from our country.

My attorney give me the advice to call them 2 days after granted. Hopefully you guys get you Gc very soon.

I had my InfoPass on March 10 and didn't see any changes to my I-485. I called USCIS on March 26 and told them I didn't see any changes to my I-485 and that I needed them to process my GC. They told me an officer would get back to me within 30 days. The officer called me the next day and told me he would send a message to the USCIS office in Texas since they were in charge of processing my GC. The next day, USCIS in Texas sent me an email saying they were working on my case and that I should give them 30 days. After that, they didn't send another email. I only received the approval of my I-485 and my GC by mail. The changes were updated in my USCIS account, but they didn't send anything to my email.
