I went to see my husband's attorney and he was mad when I mentioned what uscis said and he told me that we never submitted an I-485 it was a 42B he called the court to complain about. End of the history we still waiting for a clear answer from uscis and today they recommended my husband to re-open the I485 couse they don't see the documents from the IJ

Hi Sand: I am on the same situation as you. I got granted on 12/05/2024 after 45 days I called that number to get my info pass, however the officer told me that they no longer do interviews that I was going to gee my GC by mail. I called back after 60 days of my grant date and now the officer told me that my I-485 was being handled by the Texas processing center and that my case was going to be transfered to the San Fernando processing center in L.A and that I was going to get a call from one of their officers. It is going to be almost 90 days and I have not received a call Yet. I am very concerned and nervous with all of this. Has any one experienced something like this? I do have the IJ Grant letter on my hands, but it seems that USCIS does not know what they are doing.
 
Hi @Jorgec thans for explaining the situation with you case after Grant, its very frustrating.I have one more week to complete 45 days. Have you tried to book the appointment online? There os a option for IJ grant for GC. Please keep us posted how the process going, it will be very helpful for many of us.

I am on the same situation I got granted 12-11-24 and my 45 past and I was told my case was going to be moved to the local office to wait 30 days. Those 30 days have not lapse yet. I am hoping to hear something before that but based on your case it might take longer to hear back.

After May 2025 will be different situation, since everyone should have Real ID to travel on the airplane. I went to DMV few months back with my i765 Approval notice and 5 year EAD. DMV told I cannot have Real ID because of C10. Is there anyone in the forum who were able to get Real ID.

You won’t be allowed to just have a regular drivers license but I think you can also use your passport to travel domestically after may2025.
 
Hello everyone. Today i woke up with the news that Trump fired some judges. Has anyone spoke to their lawyer and if will affect those of us who are waiting for our GC?

You can get your real ID just by presenting your I-485 receipt, your lawyer filed that application along with the 42-B, the DMV always gives me the real ID with that.
