Eoir 42b visa availability for FY 2019

Hello everyone, question, I hope someone has any leads for me. My wife and I got verbal approval in Jersey on 2022, as we all know we are only waiting for the letter. How do I update the address? All mail regarding this case was going to my lawyer but sadly he passed away so they closed the office however, a new lawyer firm picked up all his cases but uscis is still send the mail to my previous lawyer. The last thing i want is this letter to get lost. Thank you in advance.

My experience was to change my address since we moved. I had to fill-out a form. My lawyer submitted it to them but I had to fill it out and sign.

I’m thinking it’s the same but I checked online about your situation and this is why it says:

To change your lawyer's address in immigration court, you need to file a "Change of Address" form, known as Form EOIR-33, with the court, providing your lawyer's new address on the form and submitting it either by mail or electronically through the court's online portal, depending on the specific instructions provided by the court; you may need to submit a separate form for each individual in the case if their addresses are changing.

Maybe you can reach out to the new lawyer and tell them about what’s happening. Hope this helps.
 
Thanks for you input. The thing is that since I'm only waiting for the letter, I'm not hiring the lawyer that took over all cases from my lawyer, he ended up with my case after my lawyer died but if I want him to do something for me, I would have to hire him.

Good evening, your case is alredy done. So you just waiting for the granted letter. you can call or e-mail to the immigration and explain to them and replace your address for all communication I think you don’t need lawyer anymore
 
I’m curious to know my court is nyc but my judge was from out of nyc some small court my hearing was online I wants to know my judge will get 42b visa from nyc court or a court where he belongs on, in hearing he said that he was fed up from nyc cases work load

My husband's application was granted on 12/6/2024 he completed his 45 days on 01/16/2025 and he got a call las week and they said that they transferred his case to a local office and to wait for them to contact him by mail. email or a call.

Have you checked your case online? It usually shows the court at the bottom. I’m just guessing but that’s probably where your case belongs.
 
Hi, I get verbal approval 2024 for 42b, its there any documents I can get which prove my verbal approval ?(scared about current ice situation) also how can I get travel documents if I want to travel? Please help

It should be in the jurisdiction where you live when you are on individual herring. (For reference only)

Yes I know it’s nyc court but my question is that how judge will get visa since he is working for different court so I know it’s very tricky since my judge work in different immigrations court is small and case load is very less I am thinking may be if judge will get visa from he’s court so my case will move forward quickly just want to understand how this 42b visa granted works from court or by judge
