H1B RFE Response Help required

I got a RFE for H1B ammenedment. I am a Software Engineer .

RFE I got is : can you please indicate which specific courses prepared you for that task and provide more detail as to how your degree in Mechanical Engineering is needed to perform each task in software engineering ?

Can you please help ?

The employee is the one privy to his/her specific courses and their job-related association to that degree. It's not something the general public on a forum knows, but for the company's legal/attorneys to address.

Can you explain a little more about it. RFE is given for a Mechanical Degree holder working for Software company on Software profession.
 
Your company’s lawyers should be dealing with this, why aren’t they?
It is true that a company attorney would look into this and usually sends 70+ page document responding to RFE, but in general how would such RFE's be responded and could a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineer apply for IT jobs where the job description says requires minimum of Bachelors degree in Computer science or Information Technology or familiar field or with relevant experience ? Thank you for response
