Apply for 5 years or 3 years

I am applying Citizenship for my spouse, she is qualified for both 5 years and 3 years.
My questions
1>Should I apply for 5 years or 3 years in N-400
2> She is not working since last 10 years but taking care of kids, home ..etc.
In employment should I write "unemployed" or "home maker"

You can choose
1. 5 years rule to apply for Citizenship for your spouse,
2. Unemployed should fine.

[NDD]

I am under same category been on GC for 10 years & also married to US citizen for 12 years.
I have recently mailed my application but have selected the 3 yr old option.
Hope this will not cause any issues...
