Hey people. at last i am in the usa. i loved it here.

we entered to the us now(last saturday). but we will go back to turkey without getting green card. i am going to go back to turkey and resign from my job. i am going to come back in late march for staying permanently. my wife's relative is going to send us the green cards. but if there is a problem and i need to come back asap to the usa, will i be able to use my passport now to enter to the usa.(my temp visa expiration date was 19FEB2014 ) but when i asked to the immigration officer, she said me that i could use the passport for 1 year from the date i first entered here. (1FEB)

any ideas?

and does the expiration date of the passport matter when entering to the usa? is it 6 months or not?

TYhe immigration officer told you the right info. Now that your visa is activated - you can use that for travel during the first year.
