US Citizen needs help in sposoring sister and family

I am US citizen and have a sister who lives in New Zealand with husband and child. They are New Zealand citizens. I would like to sponsor my sister's green card. Assuming that her I 130 will get approved I have the below questions and appreciate your help.

1) Will consular processing be faster or 485 processing in US be faster?

2) Will my sister be able to sponsor her husband and child's green cards in turn?

2) If my sister can sponsor her family's green cards. When and at what stage of her green card processing can she do so?

1. In order to proceed further (do Adjustment of Status or Consular Processing), the I-130 needs to be approved AND the priority date of the petition must be current. There is currently a 12+ year wait for the priority date to be current in the F4 (sibling of U.S. citizen) category, so it will be a long time before she can do either of these. In order to do AOS, she will need to be in the U.S. legally at the time. Furthermore, she cannot enter the U.S. on a tourist or student visa with intent to AOS; and they will not let her in on those visas close to her priority date being current anyway. If she was in the U.S. at the time with a work visa or something, it's possible to do AOS. But most likely, she will do Consular Processing.
2. They can immigrate together with her as derivative beneficiaries.

They have to wait about 12 years to become eligible to file the I-485, AND they have to be in the US legally to file I-485 based on a sibling petition. So forget about I-485 for now.

2) Will my sister be able to sponsor her husband and child's green cards in turn?

They can be added as derivative beneficiaries and would obtain their green cards along with her. This would be done 12+ years from now at the end of the process when she's filing paperwork with the consulate to set up the interview.
