When does KCC sends your Documents to US Consulate for DV Immigration Visa?

When I applied for DV-2014 I was single. Now I am thinking of getting married. If I get married, I need to send the Marriage Certificate to KCC. If I have my wedding in Dec, in Ontario, Canada, Marriage Certificate takes about 8-10 weeks.

My interview date mostly likely becomes current in Aug/Sept 2014 based on last year current date. By the time I get my marriage certificate, it would be March 2014. I will send it in right away to KCC. But KCC may take another 6-8 weeks process it. So when would KCC send the DV Lottery related immigration documents to US Consulate in your country for Immigration Visa?

Please advice.

Once your number becomes current, KCC work through the completed forms setting up appointments at the various embassies. They send the paperwork to the embassies then - about 5 or 6 weeks before your interview.

Just a word of caution about marriage. You have asked many questions about marriage and even some that suggested you were still choosing your lucky bride. To me at least it seems you are "constructing" this marriage around the foundation of the DV lottery win.

Any time the CO sees a marriage after selection for DV they will be looking for signs that the marriage is genuine - not just a marriage that is taking advantage of the DV win. IF they suspect that your marriage is fake, they can and will deny the visa, they might ban you from entering into the USA and they might bring charges of a criminal fraud. So, I am not saying you are faking a marriage BUT please be careful and understand that your marriage will be scrutinized carefully...
 
The documents must be sent sometime between when they allot the numbers, and when they publish them. I sent an enquiry to KCC the day after the vb with my number was published - before I had even received my 2NL - to get a reply saying the file had already been sent to the consulate and any further correspondence must be with them.
