Medicaid for EAD holders

Hi All

Once we have Employment Authorization do we have right to apply for medicaid?

What you do with your health insurance after you've got your EA and your asylum status is still pending

I got Medicaid card with my Ead. sometimes when you apply hospital workers don't know much about it so they have to inquire to they supervisors.

You wont be given medicaid as for now you will be told to apply through Medical exchange Because of the Affordable Care Act your family members will qualify too

If you still have a pending asylum case, you can never apply for Medicaid, even if you have an EAD. You will have to wait untill you win your asylum to qualify for Medicaid. However, if you have an EAD with pending asylum case, you are eligible for Affordable Care Act (Obama Care).
