I need honest answer to this question.

hello house,please i want to ask if anyone can be disqualify from dv lottery after he has been selected because his passport photograph does not meet the given specifications.e.g If the winner's photograph is actually not at the middle of 2x2 specification,that is if the eyes,nose,mouth is not at the center line.
 
I will answer this way. I have heard of many people who didn't have perfect photos. One's was a littile older than 6 month, one's had a few shadows in it, one's was a little dark etc. But I have heard of only 2 people who have been disualified for the photo during last several year. A girl who by mistake sent a 6 year old photo and a guy who's photo was damaged(maybe during upload idk) and it was a real mass, you couldn't even see his face in it.

I won't say for 100% but if I were you I wouldn't worry about it.

well going by what d embassy posted on their website in Lagos one can say they may not accept it. But have seen several people scaling through after using d wrong specification of photograph. All one need to do is to go for interview with correct specification of photograph.

Thank you sergey6116, you just lifted a big load of worry off my chest.now i can relax a little bit.

When i applied for 2014dv,i did not have the right specification of photos,so i tried to resize but did a shoddy job.Although the photo is clear,the picture is not at center of 2x2.
however,i was selected but i dont know what will happen if they check the photo at the interview.

Dear Samolaniyi,
Yes, but if not strict nature of d embassy in Lagos,I don't think that would be a problem.

2nl not received untill now

iam a winner dv 2014 and my case number 2014as000013** being processed in this October...
i don't receive my notification letter ( interview appointment )to know the date of my interview..
when should i receive this second letter ?????
 
When did you send in your forms to KCC?

Your forms have been received and are currently processing. Allow several weeks for processing. Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing.

They are still processing your forms which means you have to wait a little more for them to complete processing then you will get an interview date. If they complete processing sometime in this week, I am positive that you'll get an interview date in December.
