Thank u Samyoussef, I have 1 problem, I already obtained the police record on 16th of June and will expire on 16th of Sep. do I need to obtain another one or it's fine I can use the one that I have??

Sure u must get a new one, u already live in Egypt. It is very easy for u. As you know , I live in Korea. It case takes about 2 months to be issued via the Egyptian Embassy. Do it again it is easy
 
Guys, if anyone from Egypt has received the 2NL sould inform us to share the experience. I know the situation in Egypt is not good now. Does the US embassy closed yet
 
Translation Help

Dear all,
Congratulation for all the winners , I was one of lucky people who have been selected with a CN 19xxx. I have some questions which require your advise
1) I need a recognized Translation office in Cairo since my city doesn't have such offices?
2)what about the finger print sheet? Is it possible to be issued in English because In my city they told me it is only in Arabic? and what is the validity of this sheet?
3) After attestation of the Education certificate and other documents through the ministry of foreign affairs, will it require further attestation through the american embassy?

For the DV interview you can present documents without translations if they are in English OR in the official local language for the embassy. So - for Cairo that would be Arabic - so perhaps I misunderstand but why are you getting translations?

I am afraid that my interview will be in Dubai which is an Arabic country but I am not sure if they will accept the Arabic documents specially the Education certificate which my eligibility was based on it. in addition to the finger print( police record) and i don't like to take any risk that my refuse or postpone my application.

OK - if it makes you feel better then having the translations won't do any harm.

Indeed it won't harm, by the way could you guess when they may invite me for the interview? my case No is AF 19xxx and KCC has confirmed that they received my documents and pending further embassy review.

I would think January, possibly December. The December numbers will be published in about 2 weeks in the November bulletin.

One more Issue , I spent around 7 months in KSA 12 years back and I have already mentioned this in the DSP 120 but I don't know how to obtain the police record from KSA, Do you think they will insist on having this report?

You do not have to provide a police certificate for a foreign country where you lived for less than 12 months - UNLESS you were arrested there.
