Hi !
I'm an economist and I travel for work, almost constantly: USA, Germany, Japan, UAE
My passport will be with the embassy after the DV GC interview.
Let's say they say yes at the DV interview. I will not be home for almost 3 weeks
from the day of the interview traveling on my 2nd passport (in the UK we are
allowed 2 for business reasons. Also I go to Israel and the Emirates so I have to have
two...)

Will it be ok to enter the USA on my second passport (on Visa Waiver as a tourist) after the GC visa has been
issued on the first passport? I won't have time to collect my primary passport before
the US trip and of course until I am 100% sure things I am not telling my employer
that I could be leaving quite soon ..

Thanks.
Dominic.

I very much doubt that would be an issue since your application won't be finalised at that point. They tend to take the scenario presented to them and won't connect the dots to the other passport. If I were you I would have a copy of the second passport ready along with documentation regarding the visa process (receipt for the 2nd passport). Having a second passport is still quite rare so the typical border control officer won't have experienced it before...
