I just got a yellow notice that asks me:
- bring your state driver's license or state-issued photo id card
- you indicated in your application that you have been arrested. For all these arrests and any other incidents in whicj you may have been involved, bring originals or certified copies of all arrest records and court dispositions showing how each incident was resolved
However, I have never been arrested and they should know that since my background check cleared in a few days (I got the interview scheduled only ten days after FP). I did indicate on the form that I got cited for minor traffic violations that resulted in fines (paid). And I cheched the only box that included the word 'cited', along with arrested, detained, etc.
Moreover, the document checklist that was sent with the interview letter states:
NOTE: Unless a traffic incident was alcohol or drug related or serious personal injuri to another person occured, you do not need to submit documentation for traffic fines and incidents that did not involve an actual arrest if the only penalty was a fine of less than $500 and/or points on your driver's license.
So there is no document to bring because there hasn t been any arrest. I suspect it's a routine form they send for anybody who has any of those legal boxes checked.
I appreciate any suggestions or information based on similar interview experiences. Many thanks in advance!
