My passport and GC were retained by CBP when I traved back to US with my wife (new immigrante) two years ago.
A couple of days after that I got a "Notice to Appear" and I was under "remove proceeding"
On 11/5/12, the immigration Judge granted me a waiver and I can keep my GC. Two days ago (12/5/12) the Judge's order has been final.
My question is where I can possibly get my document back (CBP, ICE, USCIS or the court)? I did contact CBP and someone there told me that all my stuff had been sent to the court. Is there possible I can get them back by contact court clerk?
A separate issue is my wife coming to US with me two years ago with her immigration package. Because my status was suspended when we crossed the board and her immigration case is totally depended on my status. She was paroled into US and her passport and immigration package were also retained by the CBP. She lived with me without any status in the passed 2 years.
On the master hearing, I saw her passport was hold by the ICE attorney. But on the individual hearing, a different ICE attorney told us that he did not see her passport there. Does anyone know what is going to happen to my wife's case? Who/where we can contact to make thing clear what we should do next?
Any suggestion will be great appreciated. Thanks in advance.
