As an USA Citizen I'd like to Apply GC for Mom who already has been approved for I130 by her Brother

My mom who lives in bangladesh is already approved for I-130 by her brother who applied for her 5 years ago. Since it is a very lenghty procedure (May be another 5 more years is needed) and recently, I became an US citizen, I would like to apply GC for her because it should take 6 t0 9 months for her to get GC. It will be appreciated if someone tell me what will be the procedure for that?

Do I need inform USCIS to cancel her appreoved I 130 thru her brother before I apply GC for her?

There is no need to cancel the existing I-130. They allow having multiple active I-130/I-140, and the immigrant can choose to complete the process through whichever one progresses to completion first.

Go ahead and file for your mom with a new I-130.
