Employment letter

Hi,

I have my interview tomorrow. I feel very prepared, but just now I realize I don't have a current employer letter. I have been with this employer for over 10 years and got Green Card with their sponsorship. How important is it to have this letter? I did not think of it as I was going by the list of documents to bring as indicated in the interview notice. It didn't have employer letter and so I didn't think about it.

I am a bit concerned. Any thoughts?

I carried during my interview but it was not asked even though I changed my place and employer. I had carried Tax/Account transcripts for 5 years. I was asked only one question-do you owe any tax to the Govt.? I said NO.

Good luck with your interview.

Do not worry - most likely an IO will not ask you to show any employment letter. If you have your employer ID card (like, for example, I took my University ID card, since I am a faculty; also employees of many companies have their ID cards or business cards), just take the one with you - it will give you peace of mind. Good luck with your interview!
