I am preparing OCI application for my family (4 applicants: me, spouse, 2 kids who are american citizens and have PIO Card)

Can someone please help me for the following questions?

Q1: When should we send Original PIO card? (Along with application or once OCI is granted)?

Q2: Do they need notarized copy of the PIO card with the OCI application? If yes, How many sets?

Q3: For renunciation, When should we send Original Indian passport? Along with application or once OCI is granted (like the way that we send US Passport)

Q4: Do we need to attest all copies of the supporting documentation? If yes, do you know the wording? (eg: This is a copy of the original), Should we also sign on each page after attesting?

Q5: Should both adult applicants attest and sign each supporting document for kids application or only the first applicant?

We recently finished our OCI ( a week back) for family of 4 and let me try to answer your queries based on how we did.

Q1: When should we send Original PIO card? (Along with application or once OCI is granted)?

We sent original PIO card & Indian passports with application after calling & confirming with Travisa.

Q2: Do they need notarized copy of the PIO card with the OCI application? If yes, How many sets?

Did not notarize any copies.

Q3: For renunciation, When should we send Original Indian passport? Along with application or once OCI is granted (like the way that we send US Passport)

Answered in Q1.

Q4: Do we need to attest all copies of the supporting documentation? If yes, do you know the wording? (eg: This is a copy of the original), Should we also sign on each page after attesting?

Did not attest any copies.

Q5: Should both adult applicants attest and sign each supporting document for kids application or only the first applicant?

Both parents signed & notarized the letter giving explanation why our kid did not have citizenship certificate ( he got US passport since he derived his citizenship based on our naturalization). Did not attest anything else. - answer to the last question Q5.

Thank you for your answers. They are helpful. I still have one question..... I just wanted to double check with all of you.....

This OCI process is very confusing. Web site asked us to notarize PIO card, over the phone they said we don't need. Did any one of you notarize PIO cards, if yes, did you use just first 2 pages that have photo and other info to notarize or all pages?
