@makeiteasier, I dont agree with u bro. We have seen and heared cases where documents were complete and perfect, and still, couples were denied of their visa. We dont know why they were denied, but we wont let anyone in this forum make same mistakes. If u succeeded in your interview, that does not mean he should go there on prepared. The CO who interviewed you might have giving you visa, but dont be surprise, thesame CO will deny another fellow his visa with thesame case as yours. This people are very funny and with the way things are going, one should not take chances. You will definately not be there when he and his family will face the CO during questioning and dont be surprise anything can come up on that day.
I will still suggest u do as i said. Let KCC be aware of your new born baby and let them decide on what step u are to take. Those of us in this forum are not professionals in immigration issues, most especially when it comes to this DVLOTTERY stuffs. The child was born in the US,fine, and so he is a CITIZEN automatically, but that does not mean the father should not inform KCC. Let KCC decides where to place the child and not u or i.
