i-485 after termination of removal proceedings

I have a question about my upcoming i-485 interview.
I was in removal prceedings for overstaying an F1 visa.
I had married and filed for AOS back in 2002, had the interview no decision. in 2005 was called in for another interview, by then i had been separated from my ex, so i did not attend the interview and the case was denied. In between this i have been living with my then girlfriend and had a child together. Married my GF in 2009. ICE picked me up in 2010. My USC wife applied for i-130 for me. We went through a stokes interview and it was approved. Laywer motioned the court to terminate the proceeding which they did. Filed for i-485 in October, got fingerprints done in november, REF response for affidavit of support sent. Now the interview in a month>
1-My question is how tough will the interview be? (btw no criminal record)
2-In the first interview they asked me about my first marriage, will they be doing the same thing during this interview?
3-What are my chances of getting a green card?

Hi guys,
We had the i-485 interview on Feb, 2nd 2012. We were scheduled for 11:30 am. Me, my wife and my youngest daughter attended. We arrived 40 minutes earlier. I handed in the notice to the clerk and waited about 35 mins. The room was packed with people and their lawyers. We were called in at around 11:35 by an african american young lady. She greeted us with a smile and led us to her office. she swore us in and told us to sit. She asked for our ID's and my passports. She immidiately took my I-94 from my passport and stapeled it to my file. She started by saying " let's see... you guys have an approved I-130 right? you had the interview here in the summer so we are not gonna ask about that, right?" i did not answer. The first question she asked is : How did you guys meet? my wife answered to that. then she verified my name DOB, SSN, the address, father's and mother's name.. She asked when i entered the us on what status (F1) what school, if i attended school, and why i dropped off school. My daughter jumped in front of the desk (she is 3) and picked up my ID that was on the desk. I stopped her then the IO asked is this (name) i said yes and that we have another 8 year-old that she was then in school. Then IO asked was that the cause why your first marriage did not work out, i said that was part of it. She asked me some of those YES/NO questions on the form to which i asnwered No except for the one about deportation and removal which i said i was in removal proceedings but they were terminated. She then asked my why i was in proceedings i said because i overstayed my visa. She stood up and asked me if i have any documents i want to provide i said i have tons of documents ( i did not know what exactly to give her) she said i don't need tons just some. she said that while going out to make copies of my birth cert. and passport.
She came back in and said that she does not have anymore questions. She asked us if we have any questions, then i asked what is the decision. She said " oh there is no decision today you will get a final decision or the green card in the mail" she saw us out and that was it. So far there is no change on my online status and have not received any mail. It has been 7 days now. Whay do you think guys? is there any light at the end of the tunnel? How long before I should hear from them? I am just afraid my file will be put on shelf and be forgotten.
I need your input please. Anyone with similar situation or experience?
 
Seems like the interview went well. They didn't give you a decision on the spot because whenever there are red flags like arrests or removal proceedings in your history, they send it for supervisor review.

If you don't get a decision in 90 days, make an Infopass appointment to inquire about the status of the case.
 
Thanks jackolantern, I appreciate your answer which is always to the point. I am just worried since i have had bad experiences dealing with CIS. Do you think they may send a RFE or an ITD since i did not give the IO any updated documents for the file?
 
Approval

Hi guys, I think i received an approval email from uscis. It says

"Decision
On February 27, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

Am i correct if i say that's an approval email and that i will get my green card in the mail shortly???

Yes, you've been approved! Expect the card to arrive in 1 to 4 weeks.

Baghouss, how long did it take for the IJ to terminate the removal proceedings?
