My friend had small private company. Something like LLC in US. He won on lottery but don't have proper education (just 11 yr of school). So he asked me if he can qualify like CEO of that small company?
Because his job is on list
http://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/11-1011.00
SVP Range (8.0 and above)

Just his company is too small. But didn't find anywhere how big that company need to be to qualify for dv lottery.

Thank you

interesting question.... I've heard that in general they have become more strict in the employment qualification category, but I'm sure it depends on the foreign post or whether he would go for AOS.

i don't have any first-hand experience so just going off of DOS and USCIS instructions/policies I would think he would qualify as long as his earnings were in line with the occupation average and he can documentarily prove everything. I don't know whether the size of his company has anything to do with it.

i think in the end, he should consult a well qualified immigration attorney. if he is in the US and applies for AOS and if he is denied this could lead to deportation...

Thank you so much for replay. He can prove everything with documents just question is if company is really small.
He is not in US and he will be at interview in consulate.

it can still be risky for him to proceed because if he gets denied he will have a hard time acquiring any kind of a nonimmigrant visa after that because of immigrant intent. if he is willing to take the risk then he should prepare with as much documentation as possible....

He can apply for some private college but maybe too late now ? :)
He want to apply with job experience
