Hi!

I wanted to find out if I have to do anything after going in for fingerprinting, or if the USCIS automatically knows that I went and completed the biometrics. I went in on June 20th and havent heard anything yet, is it normal to wait a while before receiving working papers?

Thank you forum :)

You don't need to do anything after doing biometrics until USCIS calls you for an interview. Yes it's normal to wait a while before receiving working papers. Those can come in as late as 90 days from the day your application is received by USCIS (the receipt date on your NOA).

Hi Switch11,
Yes you need to wait for the interview call meanwhile you can make sure you have the support documents if any ready for submission.Good luck!
