Hi all, might be an interest for some of you... it's a young artist who made a nice video about the situation in America (Canada and the US),

Hope you will appreciate... or not :-)
Also take a look at the people's comments below the video... that should help you preparing yourself mentally for things you might encounter while living abroad... especially if you are black and MUSLIM.

Moderator,

please delete this link, the guy is preaching.

Whinining, victim mentality, blame games. Just the way it is everywhere in the world. We are our own worst enemies.

Everybody has a point of view and a different experience, this is why Im sharing this link,
I have been living in Canada and the US for 10 years and I have seen many and many families coming from overseas, people with diploma and degrees, doctors, attorneys and such... working as cab driver if they are lucky. Im not saying this is gonna happen to you, indeed, it didnt happen to me, I had the chance to study in Canada so it was easier for me to find a decent job in Canada then the US... But keep in mind that when you are coming straight from overseas, things might be very different,

Some people think it's the El Dorado back in America, but it's not always the case...

Again Im just sharing this so people could PREPARE themselves financially and psychologically before the final landing.
Especially if you have a family going with you... Im not trying to stop people going there, myself Im going back so who am I to stop people.

Well thanks for sharing the link. Most immigrants have this rosy picture of America in their mind. Yeah its lovely and great here, but immigrants gotta work hard to fit in, and this country does not accept most degrees from overseas, that means that most immigrants that want to make it here will have to go back to college and acquire American education, even doctors, nurses and pharmacist from overseas will have to be retrained. Just something for people coming here to keep in mind

problem america is facing is very simple ..no fresh ideas and directions ..stallmate .
+status quo + inept & corrupted politicans ...
this is not the society who can take that on the long run..every day in the crisis is one day too much for this country ...its simply not designed to endure that something like that ..its not canada and simply its not europe by the long shoot ...

It depends. We cannot say everyone are working as taxi drivers etc. I knew few people who are immigrants, got settled in good job. It depends upon your hard work.

yes some people d have good jobs ..BUT NOT YOU
some people do have nice cars and big houses but NOT YOU
yes ..some people do have money to burn .. BUT NOT YOU ..
