Can i change my sponsor?

Hi wonderful people, please grasp your keypad and help!

I am going for the consular interview in first week of September. But my sponsor has declined to assit me with the needed documents. However, I have other person who qualifies and has agreed to help me with any documents that will be needed. But this new guy's name did not appear on the original form that was sent to KCC. And I believe KCC has finish processing all documents by now, once an interview date has been set.

So I want to know: It is possible to change my sponsor at this crucial moment?
If Possible how do i do it?

Yes you can change it at the interview or you can send email to the consulate where you will have yopur interview telling them about the change. If you send email to change it, don't forget to remind the consular officer who will interview you.

Yes you can do it. You can look for person who can sponsor your or else you can go with join sponsor.The first person can still act as a sponsor, but must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent resident status. A joint sponsor must be otherwise eligible to act as a joint sponsor. Some may not qualify based upon past sponsorship or insufficient proof of assets. Recent Tax returns or tax return transcripts may be needed unless there is proper authorization to review IRS documents provided by the joint sponsor.
