Help Needed

Hi to all forum member,

I need some information for family based immigration .

My brother is GC holder and he will get his Citizenship in 2012.

Can my brother file for me as a family member? Or Can he file for parents ?
I mean while he is GC holder, can he file family based immigration for us?


Right now, I am in the USA on H1b visa.

I will appreciate your help.

Your H1B will be long expired before you can get a GC thru your brother. First he has another couple of years to become a citizen. Then once he files for you, it is another 10 years wait in the sibling category. More if you were born in Mexico or the Philippines.
