Citizenship for Employment base Green Card Holder

Received Green Card 5 yrs ago thrugh emplyment base. It took more than 4 yrs to process permanent residence application and right after it was approved, sponsor company was out of business.
Does it requre to work certain time for the sponsoring employer to eligible for citizenship?
 
Nope. How long you have worked for the company that actually got you your green card has no bearing on your citizenship application.
 
You are supposed to work for the sponsoring employer after GC approval, or another employer in a "same or similar" job.
 
Don't worry too much. If you are currently working then you should be ok, the IO will ask if you are currently working. The Interview depends on the IO, If you are in IT field they understand the current job market. Good luck you will get citizenship without any issues.
 
My spouce received GC based on my I-485. My spouce applied N400 last month. She never had any ticket or any Problem with law inforcement. Will she be in trouble , because I did not work for my sponsoring company. please help.
 
To take the negative side: It could be a problem. They are entitled to review complete case history if they feel like. "Problem with law enforcement" has nothing to do with it.

The positive side: The chances of them investigating this, although positive, are low.
