Hi house, my wife was the winner of the dv lottery, she did not have a complate waec b4 she applied, however she did applied for GCE, to God be the glory she has a 6 credit,,, my question is that, would they accept a waec result that is currrent? she just made her GCE ... i need a responds cos i would not want to waist money.

They will accept the result provided she meet the requirements which is 5 credits (including English and Maths i think). Just make sure u get the WAEC certificate or statement of result with WAEC result checker scratch card. I think that should be ok.

the criteria of the dv lottery is to have at least 12 yrs of education ... which is their equivalent of graduating high school. in your wife's case if she has gce 'a' level cert then she's fine. if she's got only gce 'o' level then she needs at least 2 more years of formal education to qualify.
