2nd NL through email

very strange . when Iam applying dv 2010 for my friend I wrote my email address on the form and he wined . today I received through my email the second NL of my friend. ie kcc will send all notification letters through email it is good for those who change their address
 
That's odd! does the email contain the list of required documents/check list? Do you see anything in it that is specific to your friend's case (e.g. case number, exact fees for the number of beneficiaries, special required documents for your case or specific to your location?)
 
call KCC, maybe they reach your friend via your email. Does it give the interview date and time?
Did you talk to your friend?
 
yes the letter contains the case number,the fees , the interview date and the required documents for the interview

I interrupt to this thread..

I understood that 1st NL is sent as a postal mail. Does the 2nd NL is sent by e-mail, not a postal mail??
 
believe me i submitted the application thru the offecial dv website and i received the 2nd letter thru the offecial known kcc email
 
I did receive mine in paper (mail) not via email, but it happens, you can easily call KCC they are very nice!
Maybe the paper one got lost or returned to them. Does it have a time of interview on there?

they will only send you via email if you ask and only after 1 month of mailing the hard copy. not normal for them to just email without request from winner.
