On Jan 13, 2010 my wife passed her interview and received N-652. Officer told her he can not give her oath letter since he has not received finger print results and ask her to submit the police report from local police station. We submitted the police report next day. We were waiting for oath letter but we received another letter that ask to meet a specific officer concerning N-400 application processing. They only ask to brought Green Card with her.

Does any body has experienced this before? They have not ask her to bring any other paper so I am not sure what kind of prepration we do for this.

M I MISSING SOMETHING................your timeline shows you are done with this case....also applied for passport and got the passport.......HOW CAN YOU APPLY FOR PASSPORT WITHOUT NATURALIZATION CERTIFICATE???????????.......is it your timeline or your wife's.........
if it's your's and not your wife's........than.....

I think immigration officer might want to have your wife come in and finish the oath ceremony and also collect the citizenship certi. That's my guess.........

I think he got N400, but his wife is the one who got the letter.

Does the letter says anyhting else? can you post here exactly what the letter says?

The signature time line is mine. I have already received my citizenship. My wife got the letter for her N-400 application. The letter says:

"Please come to the office shown below at the time and place indicated in connection with an official matter.

Office Location:
Date and Hour:
Ask For: District Adjudication Officer Name
Reason for appointment: N-400 Application Processing
Bring with you: Green Card (ARC)

It is important you keep the appointment and bring this letter with you."

Oath letter that I received is different. Also Atlanta only have oath at about 3:00pm for which they call people 1:00 and 2:00pm.

Any advice?

Go ahead and meet the officer. I am not sure how complete the interview was - but the officer might need to formally get her to sign the N400 under oath.

When the first interview completed and she got a standard "decision can not be made" letter after formally signing the N400?
Or was the interview stopped due to lack of FP and she did not sign N400?

Don't be afriad of anything...........just go there with positive mood..............i m sure you will be fine..............relax

Yep. relax but be prepared...if you have her copy of filed N-400...do another review and cross checking answers...as they ...be prepared for the worst and wish for the best....may be, unreported event...disclosure..this is not usual.

She already passed her interview and received N-652 that says she has passed the test and she is recommended for citizenship. She also signed her N-400 application in front of officer as well. She did not got the oath letter as officer found that her fingerprint results are missing. He asked her to mail police report (that we did, it has no record) and he will issue oath letter after receiving that. The officer said it is just formality.

I am not worried about the interview, but I shared on this forum to learn from the experience of others, and be prepared. Sometime other experience help to prepare in advance. She will take all the documents that she took with her during first interview and cross check application as well.
