Email sent to the KCC for the DV 2011

Hi everybody !

Just sent today an email to the KCC asking for the exact dates, where they will send the 1st Notification letter to the winners for the DV 2011...
Let s Hope this year it will be a little bit earlier...:)

As soon as the will respond I will post the answer...

Hope everybody's dream come true this year !!!!

Hope you get a good response from them, but I think their response will not be different from what you have been reading from this forum - i.e. between May and July with the online checking on or after July 1.
 
Thanks Ammeck09 for the answer just hoping this year to be earlier! specially with the fact that this year they will send emails too .... as it says in the DV 2011 instructions :

"ARE THERE ANY CHANGES OR NEW REQUIREMENTS IN THE APPLICATION PROCEDURES FOR THIS DV REGISTRATION?
Yes, you must provide an email address this year as part of your entry, it is no longer optional. If you are selected, you will still receive an official letter from KCC by regular mail, but KCC may send other communications to you by email. Please provide a personal email address that you can access rather than using someone else’s address or a standard company address[/COLOR]."

LOL cant wait anymore lol, Hope GOD will give me this NL this year....Its my 4th attempt..
Can you tell me how many time have you played??
And where your from??

One thing you must understand is that they will not inform winners by email. You still have to wait till you get the official letter from kcc. The email can be used for other communicatiosn as well as for security checks by FBI and other security agencies. Hope this time your dreams comes true. I'm from Ghana and have played this lottery many time that I can't exactly remember how many. I started in the 80s where the standard of entry/application was by putting your name, date of birth, country, address and photo on a sheet of paper and posted to kcc office in kentucky.

"Thank you for your inquiry.

Applicants who are not selected will not receive a response to their entry. All DV 2011 notification letters will be mailed from KCC prior to July 1, 2010. KCC does not notify a selectee by telephone or email. For security purposes, a list of selectees will not be published. If you do not receive a letter via postal mail from KCC, you are not a selectee. No other organization or company is authorized by the Department of State to notify Diversity Visa lottery applicants of their selected entry.

Notification letters will be sent to the mailing address provided on the entry. If you applied through an outside agency, you should contact them to inquire about your status in the program."

Trying so hard and always believe in it seems to pay at the end!!!!! U deserve it!!
 
hi evry one
i won in dv 2011 and case number 5273 im asia from palestine in middle east and i sent my forms to kcc and asked them that they got my forms they answer me and (Your forms have been received and are waiting to be processed. Mail is processed in the order of the date received, thus the importance of submitting your forms in a timely manner)i wrote that i finished certifcate 12 years from school my quwstion is there a chance for me to get green card and when the second letter will get it and i sent all forms 23/7/2010 please wish to hear best answer from you
 
hello everyone:
it's my first time to participate on the this forum.i'm so happy coz we are sharing the same dream. i have a question.i've selected for DV2011 but i didn't recieve my selectee letter that inform me about my case number.so KCC doesn't want to tell me anything about my case because i don't my case number.evev i inform them by my confirmation numer. i already sent dps-122 and ds-230 .how can i know that my case is still processing or not?thank you
