is it harder to get your citizenship if u got some food stamps while u were a permanent resident?

if so, is it substantial?

Public charge is a criteron for admissibility but not an issiue for citizenship

If you got food stamp legally, then it has no bearing whatsoever on your citizenship eligibility. Unlike I485 nowhere on N400 is there a question about
receiving public assitance. So you don't have bother about this issue

If you got food stamp illegally and got caught, disclose it and provide all police arrest/court record etc

If you got food stamp illegally and di not get caught, answer Yes to the question "Have you ever commited a crime or offense
for which you were not arrested".
