Just got my interview letter for Jan 19th....

Sent my application overnight on nov.11...

Wow so fast?! Because my Biometric was scheduled for Dec 25 or something, and I just walked in on the 5th and had them do it..

Now I desperately need to know when the oath dates for PITTSBURGH are... anyone know how I can find out? Because I am flying in for the interview from overseas...

Are there any risks to leaving between interview and and oath? how about if I want to postpone my oath can I be out of the country as long as it won't amount to 18moths (doing the 3 yrs citizenship)

That 18 months rule you are referring to is the physical presence requirement, which only has to be satisfied until you file the N-400.

However, there is also a different requirement for continuous residence, which has to be maintained not only for the 3 years (minus 90 days) before filing the N-400, but also all the way until you complete the oath. If you have already given up your US residence and relocated abroad, your naturalization can be denied for that reason.

I've never given up my US residency... I've been traveling extensively for maximum 3months at a time on humanitarian missions... don't think that should be a problem

OK, you should be fine ... but be prepared to answer questions about your travels (with proof if requested), because extensive travel during the N-400 process is indicative of somebody who has already relocated abroad.
