Confustion about question on N-400 {Part 8 - G - page 5}

Hello,

I have some confusion about a simple question on N-400. Perhaps I am reading too much into it.

Question is on Part 8 - G - page 5: How many times has your current spouse been married (including annulled marriages)?

My wife has been married once (marriage with me). So in the question about should I write 1 or 0? Meaning the number above includes the current marraige?

She has been married only once and that too with me.

What did you guys write for this question on your applications?

But right after that it says "If your spouse has ever been married before, give the following blah blah". So, it follows that the previous question was for "before"... I answered 0 and will ask the IO during interview.



If the answer is 1, then should't one fill in the info in G section 1?
