Please Help!!! AOS for Overstay; Filling out the forms

Hi,

Please share your experiences if you were filling out AOS package forms (G325, I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765 etc.) for a husband/wife whose status is expired (J1 no requirements) but currently in US and married USC.

How to answer questions such as Type of Application and Current status? on I-765 and other forms? What photocopies to send along with the package to proof the status? Please advise. Thank you!

Mine said "Adjustment Applicant". Don't worry if your wife is out of status. The important thing is she entered US legally (as J1).

What about form I-485 Part I: Current USCIS Status??? Expires on...???
