Hi,

Can you please post your experiences about citizenship here? I had very bad experience so far. I moved from los angeles CA. When I asked USCIS clerk he said it will take 3-4weeks to process my application since it is in final stage (oath letter) after transfer my file from CA. It has been 4 months and they have taken second time FP. Every two weeks I am going to USCIS and they are saying they will send letter in 2 or 3 weeks. I have visited almost 10times. Each time they give different reason to escape from me to postpone another couple of weeks. THen nothing happens. I have to take another appointment and same thing. Don't know what to do?

Could you clarify your timeline? Do you mean that you already had an interview in California and then moved to Ohio after the interview?

Oath date 06/13/2008 - Missed due to job change (address change)
Requested Address change 06/13/2008
Second Oath received 07/29/2008
Second Oath date 08/28/2008 - Missed due to urgency out of country
Address change - 03/28/2009
Motion to re-open letter sent - 04/29/2009 - Returned by USPS without informing me
Denial letter on 06/01/2009
Moved file from Los angeles CA to OH 06/25/2009
Considered for re-open due to service error in OH.
Second FP - 09/04/2009
Oath letter - waiting......
