I was approved an asylee a whileback and worked for a company almost 5yr now and they only asked me my work-permit twice and then said they didn't need a renewed one, hence i stopped renewing. but now the company has outsourced my department and the new company is requiring us to fill out the I-9. i just filled my workpermit and received my receipt 7/22/09. It shows the receipt date is 7/14/09. I am one of the forum and saw a comment that if you show your company a receipt and provide a document in 90days you are fine. Does this mean only if you don't switch to a new company or both. What is my options, Please help i can lose my job which is schedule to start Sept 21th.
