Fingerprinting questions

Hi,
I will be go fingerprinting on July 23 in Jackson heights.
And I just read the notice carefully, it siad that "no cell phone, cameras,....permitted"...
I just wondering what does this mean? it means that I can't have my cell with me at all, or actually there will be someone or place in the center that I can turn in for until I finish my fingerprinting.

it means that you cannot carry your phone when you go inside the building where the fingerprint is taken. You can leave your phone in your car. Fingerprinting will take only few minutes to complete. but you might turn it off if you insist to carry the phone.

but the problem is that i will take subway to the center, So i guess i will carry it with me and turn it off, if they allowed me to carry it inside.
Anyone have the same experience........

don't worry too much about these minor things. if asked, i doubt if you'll be, explain the situation and they'll understand. take it easy...
