Yellow Letter?

I see some people get this.

What is this letter? who gets it?

It is called case review file or something like that. It is always printed
on a piece of yellow sheet so it is now commoned called yellow letter.

The letter tells that after complete review of your application what documents to bring to the interview. Not everyone get such a letter
but I believe more and more people are getting it. It is not that important
if you get it before you getting the interview letter then you should be happy because that it means the interview letter will arrive soon. If you get
the interview letter first, then you should expect to get the yelklow letter
soon too.

Yellow letter reflect something meaningful but it does not mean in actuall interview the IO will request exatcly same set of documents as mentioned
in the yellow letter.

Most people get it. I think it lists the documents that need to be brought to the interview. Most have mentioned that all it asks you to bring are driver's ID, tax transcripts etc relevant documents.

I believe most standard lists are DL and birth certificate of US born children.

In fact, I don't think any IO ask for birth certificate of US born children
during the intewrview because it bears no relationship to your citizenship
application.

I just think the initial reviewers have to come up with something so that in a very straight forward case they just pick something whether relevent or not

I think OL is are local DO as they are one the schedule your oath but NBC systems get updated too

I recd mine from local Miami DO and it has their from address on the envelope.

NBC. All standard letter are from NBC (IL,OL, YL)
