Hi,
Does the CS test apply for all the family members including the minors (below 18 yrs.)? or is it for only the 18+ in the family and the dependent minors don't have to take it?

The USCIS history and civics test for naturalization candidates is only given to the N-400 applicant.

Your spouse, and any children you have who are older than 18, have to apply for naturalization separately with their own N-400 applications.

Minor children automatically become US citizens when parents take oath. They don't need a separate application.
