Can anyone predict when I will be scheduled for the interview?

Hi All,

I'm pretty new to this forum and one of the 2010 DV lottery winners from EUROPE.
My case number is 2010EU000278**. Please let me know whether this number is high or low. Do you have any idea about my interview date?
The 1st NL is dated on June 05 and I received it on June 12th....

Thank you

Hi, quite high but don't worry about it - I think you have a good chance. Last year people with your number had their interview from July 2008. This year from June 2009.

Very easy to check back yourself - just pull up the Visa Bulletin here - travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html

Look under your relevant region (Europe) then just have to make sure your number is BELOW that listed for your region. Eg: for June 2009, the number for Europe is 28,000. Your CN number is BELOW 28,000 so (if you had won DV2009) you can expect your interview from June 2009 onwards.

Useful to know your NL is dated 5 June. I had been starting to think the last NL ever for this year would be dated 28 May since we had not heard any more after.

I really appreciate taking your time to answer my post....Thanks a lot barium5!
So, what I see from the past there is no chance to be scheduled by the end of 2010...
Do you think if I would have done AOS (since I already am in the US) I would have been scheduled earlier tha doing CP?

No worries, you're welcome. Having high number is better than having no number at all! :)

No, your case is not suitable for AOS because it's high. But I am not knowledgeable in this area at all so I suggest you check it out - there is a specialist thread here where all the AOS people congregate:
