Hello - I applied for my mother's visitor visa extension and got a receipt date and notice of April 20th. Her current I-94 is valid until June 27th, her flight is on June 5th. It looks like it's taking 3-5 months for the Vermont Service Center to process I-539 applications and I see a lot of denials on this forum.
Considering how close we are getting to the original I-94 expiration date (June 27th), would it make sense to just stick to the original plan? Are there any visa implications if my Mom stays beyond the June 27th I-94 expiration date and we get a denial, after that date??
