Background check is over

Finally, I received a call from the embassy today to post my passport and my wife's to them to get the visa. The background check is over . It took exactly 3 week from the date of the interview.

if u have any questions do not hesitate to ask me.

Cong. , I have ur same problem, they pending my case for administrative process !
I don't know why? Can u tell me please what happend in ur interview, did u live before in Afghanistan, Algeria, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria, Yemen... what are u doing after interview? where are u live now?

no body know's how long this addministrative processing takes 2 finish.every day i also wait to hear from USA embassy.so far no reply.:(
 
Hi newdentist, I hold venezuelian passport I think they put me under admin process is because there are many people who have the same name as mine. I want to reassure you that one you have all he correct documents, you should be fine, it is just a matter of time to wait for the admin process to get over. U may call the embassy to check for any updates with regard to background check. I hav a feeling that the embassy makes contact to US with regard to background check if it takes long time. Keep in mind that there have never been a case before where someone loose his visa becase of the length of time for the administration process to finish. It means that they will their best to ensure that the process ends before end of september of the fiscal year or before the number of immigrant visa is exhausted in the same fiscal year period.
