AOS vs. Consulate

I received the notification that I was selected a few days ago. I’m in the US and expect that I’ll be able to adjust status. I hope the Infopass the following week will give me a definitive answer. Will I have the option of going thorough either the AOS or the Consulate in my home country, and if so which would be better?

Which is more likely to succeed considering that only half of the selectees will finally get GC’s?
Which is faster?
Does the total of all the fees differ between the two?

I much appreciate any insight.

Depends how high your case number is.

AOS is a little more expensive than CP.

If we compare your case number with last year lottery it is not high one. It should be current on December or January. I think you should choose AOS is secure than CP.
