Hi,

Me and my wife are planning to go on a cruise to Bahamas. She is a US Citizen, i have a conditional GC which expires next year. My question is do I need anything other than my conditional green card and my passport to go on this trip.

Appreciate any responses.

Thanks:)

Nope you don't. I travelled with an expired conditional GC last year but I had applied for removal of conditions. USCIS had given me a letter that had extended the GC by a year while the approval process was going on.

I had no problems with expired GC and letter on reentry.

Thanks....

THanks for the info.....i guess i don't have to worry then.:)

Just make sure you have visa to the country you are visiting on the way. Not all countries accept GC without visa. Some countries dont need visa if you have GC.

thanks for the heads up...i just checked Bahamas visa requirements...and it states the following...."Visa is not required for US Green card holders for stay up to 30 days. Traveler must present an original passport and the Green Card upon entry.":)
