what if 485 approved while in abroad on H1?

Dear Gurus
I have my H1B valid until 2011. I am travelling this summer and get my passport stamped in my home country. If my 485 is apporved during the time when I am in India, does it effect my re-entry any way? Do I have to have I-131? Do I have to have actual cards? Thanks for your response.

If you have H1 stamping you can enter without any problem as H1 is dual intent visa. But having AP is like added insurance.

You can enter with an unexpired H1B stamp, you don't need Advance Parole. If your I-485 was approved while abroad, they will take you into the secondary room at the POE for some extra processing related to your new PR status and then let you through.
