Employment based green card issue

Hi all,

I was granted GC at the us consular post in my country based on an employment petition. Due to the bad economy we are experiencing I arrived to the US but my employer was not able to give me the job as offered. Would I loose my GC will my GC be revoked?

You should be fine. Just a get letter from the employer stating that. Make sure the letter states that they had intent to hire you and because of economics situation they're not able to hire you.
