Need to get EAD extension immediately…..L2 is difference from I-94.

Hi I have my L2 visa from October 2006 till October 2009.
I got EAD from March 2007 till March 2009.
I went back to India from Jun 2008 to December 2008.
I came back to USA on December 2008 and I got my I-94 is till 2010 October.
In between I worked for 2 employer from March 2006 March to 2007 march.
My question is:
1. Now I don’t work, but I am planning to work in future(I getting Job offers) so, for that I need EAD
So, can I apply for an EAD extension?

2. If I apply for EAD now, I am going to get EAD after 3 months so, do they provide EAD for only 4 months (Because my L2 Visa is expiring on October) or more (Because my I-94 is till October 2010)?

3. If I get EAD for 4 months, do I need apply for EAD extension again after 4 months(If my VISA gets extended)?
Please answer me as soon as possible because I need to apply for my EAD extension.
