How you prepared for your interview

To those who are done with their interviews and have been approved, can you share some tips on how you prepared, besides the obvious (joint documents, pictures, etc.)?

I'm particularly looking for tips that helped you during the interview but were out-of-the-box, non-traditional, unique things that you did prior.

Hubby and I are in the middle of our preparation but I just wonder what else is there that we're overlooking, what more can we do, what haven't we covered?

Thanks in advance for sharing! Your responses would be appreciated.

Just google this site you will find tons of info. Good luck!

Thanks all -- I did look around, I learned a lot. I just thought there would be "quirky" tips I could get. Like today, and I'm sure somebody has thought of this before, I gathered all the Christmas cards, thank you cards, Valentine, birthday cards that were sent to both of us by family and friends. So I have a stack (we've been married 5 years and were living together for 10 years before getting married), so you can just imagine how much stuff we have and how much we would be taking with us to the interview! :)

Thanks again for your responses!

It bothers me that they keep asking people where you met and how and such things. Specially when many times, marriage took place few years ago and the couple have kids even..

I am taking our kids to the interview...

Make sure you know the information on each other's G-325A's (the bio forms) by heart - most of the questions will probably be straight from there!

I know what you mean. It's almost ridiculous to ask how we met, because that was in 1992! It's almost irrelevant really. The only "issue" I can think of is that we don't have kids, and that I only took my husband's last name last year after 4 years of marriage. We'll see if they make a big deal out of those. We hope not.
