So far I had my lawyer file all the forms since the time I got married.

Should I obtain lawyer services again to file I-751 (petition to remove conditional residence) or I can do it by myself?

Did you look at it (751) to determine if you need a lawyer or not?

For immigration purpose, people normally retain attorney if-(1) there is an issue or a complication in their case; (2) they have money to spend on or at least don't mind spending money for this cause; (3) they are unable to understand all these immigration lingo/jargons and it's hard for them to handle things by their own...because of not knowing the process nor they are willing to learn the process...or perhaps, they don't have confident in themselves for doing things right...whatever; rather they prefer to have a peace/comfort in someone handling things for them.

So, you have to figure out what category you are fit into and then proceed accordingly. If you choose to decide retaining an attorney, make sure to draw everything in writing as a contract and don't agree/sign anything if you don't understand. FYI, 94% of immigration attorneys are only for the money. Also, you would need to help your attorney as much as possible by giving all the information if you would wish your attorney to help you the best. Also, keep eyes on your papers and pro-active about your case because most people have been deported because of the mistakes of their attorney...for example, USCIS sent the interview letter or RFE to attorney but attorneys failed to tell the applicants because of being so busy with other cases...So obviously, USCIS closed the case and placed the applicants on a removal proceeding. And then there were other more mistakes as well. Thus, it's VERY important to be vigilant and pro-active about your case than completely relying on your attorney for everything.

Good luck...
