Can I file N-400 based on marriage while I-751 petition is still pending – or I-751 has to be adjudicated first?
Yes, you can file N-400 while I-1751 is still pending so long you will be eligible to file N-400. In that case, both applications, I-751 and N-400, would be adjudicated together on the same day. You will be first interviewed for I-751and if it gets approved then officer will proceed interviewing on N-400.
