lets start thread who filed I-130 in december time frame.

does anyone know how long it should take to get receipt. Now new USCIS rule mentions that all application to be mail to Chicago/vermount USCIS office and from there it will be sent to your state's regional office. adding more delay to the process.

when i talked to immigration officer he said it will take more than 4 to 6 months now to get receipts. if that true it will be horror then...

Here is my stats

I-130 sent : 12/15
Application Received : 12/18

Im trying not to check my mail too often

Wow, that's a pretty early interview letter.
I filed my stuff at the end on January. I plan(ned) on visiting my home country for vacation using my future AP in late May but if things move this fast, I might have to go to an interview instead...

Interview scheduling I think is based on the load on local DO's. So you can never predict the dates based on others unless they are form same DO.

We received Advanced Parole today(02/14) and it was approved on 02/09. Online the case status still says pending. Infact none of the cases have been updated online and LUD's are still old. I think we will b getting EAD soon too since we got AP, although no updates online.

does his mean they are processing november.

read this from uscis web sie, is it only that date or all november
we should be next. a few week a go it was on september 30th.but i think it was there for a wile.

Processing Dates for the National Benefits Center as of: November 30, 2008
extension applications 3 Months
I-765 Application for Employment Authorization Based on a pending I-485 adjustment application [(c)(9)] 3 Months
I-765 Application for Employment Authorization All other applications for employment authorization 3 Months

What this means is that as of Nov 30th 2008, it is taking 3 months to make decisions on such cases.

Yes, I figured that. Our D/O is Cleveland, I don't think there is a flux of immigrants flooding the rust belt recently... So I assume it will move relatively fast.

AP processing times, based on dozens of timelines I have checked here on the forum, seem to be around 65-75 days, which is a little less than the stated 3 months. I anticipate getting mine in mid April hopefully. (Filed February 1st.)
(I already have an EAD card since I also have an employment-based case going on for 2 and a half years now. EB3 category Priority dates seem to have been stuck in the mud recently, have not moved for 4 months now.)

Hope this helps you.

fp=finger print

noa=notice of action

rfe=request for additional evidence

ead=employment authorization document

aos=adjustment of status

gc=green card

lud= ?

Hope this helps you.
